Known as American Rose Theater's "Vavoom Girl", Victoria Voluptuous is the producer and co-founders of A.R.T. Having a family lineage that goes back to the silver screen of Hollywood and beyond with directors, writers, vocal coaches, actors, dancers, Vaudeville Performers, Oscar and Emmy Award Winners, and even a Rocket dancer. Victoria Voluptuous loves how she can express her sexual freedom and free-spirited nature in a modest way, while being confident in her own body, while performing. She admires things that sparkle, provide beautiful shapes and movements (which all makes perfect sense in burlesque). She has been performing burlesque since 2011 but has been on the stage her whole life.
Co-Founder of American Rose Theater, she loves the art of Burlesque, and see's it as an empowerment for woman of any age or body type. Performance art gives her the opportunity to grow inside, which then shows more self confidence and a playfulness to life on the outside. Chellena's favorite part is developing her own characters and acts. She performs for her own enjoyment and has been involved with Burlesque since 2012.
Le Barroness Rubis
I have been performing and enjoying the lovely art form of Burlesque for a few years now. After founding American Rose Theater LLC with Chellena Star and Victoria Voluptuous, I am and her colleagues are excited to share this beautiful and empowering art form with Wichita audiences.
Bellydancer and director of Sarpa Rajni Dance Co. Creator of Heavy Metal Karoake (born on 6/6/06, and yes, it's awesome ). Founding member of The Ukuladees. Obviously, no stranger to dressing up and making a spectacle, it was only a matter of time before Clara Boa was born. Initially performing with Dr. Dillinger's Freaks & Floozies as a member of the wildly popular singing comedy act, The Ukuladees (who were invited to audition by the producers of America's Got Talent!), Clara expanded her act to include snakes, dance, and naturally, the art of the strip tease! Clara joined forces with American Rose Theater in 2013 to actively promote the art of burlesque in her hometown, of Wichita Kansas, and is excited to bring her brand of disco to your neck of the woods!
Soon after learning her theatrical typecast as “sweet and innocent,” Maggie wanted to just once be cast as the Vamp. She took matters in to her own hands by bumping her way into the local Burlesque troupe. Since joining, Maggie has learned it’s not about the dance moves; it’s about knowing everybody has a body they should have the pride and freedom to show off and express (despite any societal knee-jerk reactions). So come join Maggie on this adventure and she'll see you after the show!
Serena D'Muir is a rhinestone-loving gal who is finally coming into her own. Having left small town life behind, she joined American Rose Theater in 2013 and hasn't regretted it for a minute. Serena began her burly-career as a stage kitten but was soon bitten by the performing bug. Burlesque has given her confidence, a sense of pride and a love of all things sparkly. The adorable Ms D'Muir enjoys infusing her acts and humor and always enjoys making her fans laugh. She has been a featured performer at the Kansas Burlesque Festival in Topeka and has appeared on stage with True Grit-n-Grind in Fort Smith, AR. She is hoping to share her mix of sexy and silly with more areas soon! Our Serena wants the world to know that all women are sexy, regardless of size. While she truly believes that the world would be a better place with more bling, Serena does wish that women would look inside and find the sparkle within themselves. Remember, it's not what you look like or the clothes that you wear that really makes you shine.
She came to American Rose Theater by way of Le Baroness Rubis, she has smiled, shimmied, and played her violin into you hearts. Don't let this cute face fool you, she has a sensual side that comes out when it gets dark. She has been with American Rose Theater practically since it has started, performed in Tulsa, OK and Kansas City, KS and of course, good ole' Wichita.

After retiring from 16 years in the LGBT docudrama film industry in which she was presented 6 American and 2 European nations Awards, Cherrie Vixon discovered belly dance. Exploring a variety of styles under a tutelage of Wichita instructors Mary Zeki (Safiras world of dance) Rachel Parrish, and Diane in ITS (Amiras dance productions). Mary, her first instructor, started her in wings and from there she self taught herself and chose to take her passion with Isis wings to the expert level, performing with them as her signature prop. In her exploration of dance, she discovered fusion belly dance where she is able to take advantage of her background in American Cabaret, American Tribal with a touch of Egyptian and Turkish styles of dance.
She has recently explored and performed burlesque with the Phantom Airship Devil’s Blight shows, and American Rose Theater. Since 2014, Cherrie has performed in regional venues such as Safiras World of Dance Productions, Amira Dance Productions Dance Magic, Great Plains Renaissance Festival, KC Pride and Wichita Gay Pride weekends. Her special passion is choreographing Isis wing dance and belly dance fusions.
